The 7SI Cartridge is designed for slime reduction in ice applications and also reduces water-related ice machine problems caused by scale buildup from dirt and dissolved minerals. The 7SI does not include carbon and allows the chlorine to pass through which helps to reduce slime and bacteria growth inside the ice machine and ice bin. This solutions is ideal for foodservice operations where baking of breads and pastries is done on-site.

- Reduces ice machine maintenance, service costs and buildup. Scale can result in clogging of distribution lines, malfunction of probes, floats, pumps, solenoids and valves, and higher energy consumption.
- Sanitary cartridge replacement is simple, quick and clean. Internal filter parts are never exposed to handling or contamination.
- Exclusive precoat filtration provide superior chlorine taste and odor reduction and micro-filters dirt and particles as small as 0.5 micron in size by mechanical means.
- Leaves chlorine and chloramines within water that is supplied to equipment which helps to reduce slime growth in ice machine and ice bin.
- Utilizes depth filtration and Fibredyne™ media for superior dirt holding capability.
- Can be used on Insurice® and Hybrid Manifold Systems.
Operational Tips
- Change cartridges on a regular six (6) month preventative maintenance program.
- Change cartridges when capacity is reached or when pressure falls below 10 psi (0.7 bar). Service flow rate must not exceed 3.5 gpm (13.25 Lpm).
- Always flush the filter cartridge at time of installation and cartridge change.
Installation Tips
- Install vertically with cartridge hanging down.
- Allow 2-1/2" (6.35 cm) clearance below the cartridge for easy cartridge replacement.
- Flush 7SI cartridge by running water through filter for five (5) minutes at full flow.
- This system must be installed and maintained according to the manufacturer’s instructions, including installation and replacement of filter cartridges.
