Clack Filter-Ag is a silica, crystalline quartz media which can be used as highly efficient filter media for the reduction of suspended matter.

Filter-Ag (A8014) offers efficient removal of suspended solids down to 20-40 microns thanks to its fractured edges and irregular surface. Its larger particle size reduces pressure loss and allows deeper sediment penetration, extending filter life. The unique shape prevents clogging and headloss buildup common in sand filters. Lightweight design lowers backwash rates and improves sediment release during cleaning. While not an iron reduction media, it effectively traps oxidized iron particles. Suitable for pressure or gravity systems, Filter-Ag supports high flow rates and water conservation, enabling smaller equipment and lower pumping costs.
