AQUAFINE® is a catalytic, high activity granular activated carbon manufactured by steam activation of select coconut shell charcoal. The catalytic activity of this activated carbon makes it highly effective for the removal of chloramines and hydrogen sulfide from potable water.
The acid washing process enhances the surface area and pore structure, greatly improving its capacity to effectively adsorb contaminants. Its exceptional hardness and low impurity levels make it cleaner than most other carbons, giving it a longer service life.
