The Liberty Pumps 290 Series is built for on-site wastewater systems, liquid waste transfer and commercial heavy-duty sump applications that require higher head or more flow. Its one-piece cast iron “Uni-Body” housing combines a compact design with a 3/4 hp motor and 3/4-inch solids-handling capability.

Choose manual operation or one of three automatic float-switch configurations to suit your installation. A quick-connect power cord can be replaced without breaking the motor seals, making future servicing simpler.

• 3/4 hp, 115V, single-phase motor; rated current: 10.4 amps.
• 1-1/2-inch discharge and 3/4-inch solids handling.
• One-piece Class 25 cast iron motor housing.
• Oil-filled, hermetically sealed motor with thermal overload protection.
• Permanently lubricated upper and lower ball bearings.
• Stainless steel rotor shaft, fasteners and removable bottom screen.

Choose your model and float switch

• LIB290 — Manual: No float switch; not automatic.
• LIB291 — Integral wide-angle float: Automatic operation with an integral wide-angle float switch.
• LIB293 — Wide-angle float with piggyback plug: Automatic operation with a fully adjustable wide-angle float switch.
• LIB297 — Vertical magnetic float (VMF): Automatic operation with a heavy-duty, non-adjustable vertical magnetic float switch.

Installation planning

Models 291 and 293 require a minimum 14-inch sump diameter; model 297 requires a minimum 10-inch sump diameter. Factory switch settings are 13 inches on and 7 inches off for models 291/293, and 9.5 inches on and 4 inches off for model 297. Confirm the pump and switch clearances for your installation before ordering.
